How to participate: as a Project Developer

Because every action counts!

You can participate in the European Week for Waste Reduction as a “Project Developer”: you will simply need to register your idea for a communication action focused on waste reduction (awareness-raising activity, information campaign, event, exhibition, presentation, other) with the “Organiser” covering your area.

Project Developers can belong to one of the following categories:

  • Administration/public authority
  • Association/NGO
  • Business/industry
  • Educational establishment
  • Other (for example hospital, retirement home, cultural institution…)

To participate, register your proposal for an EWWR action. Check on the list of Organisers who is in charge of coordinating the EWWR in your area and contact them for the registration. If your area doesn’t yet have an Organiser, you can send your action proposal to the EWWR Secretariat.
Find out more about what has been implemented by previous participants on our page related to case studies and good practices.

Once your proposal has been validated, the Organiser will contact you with more information to guide you with the implementation of your action.

To participate in the European Week for Waste Reduction as a Project Developer, you must commit to a number of principles. These are laid out in the Project Developers’ Participation Charter.
